The short version
Your bill and receipt library are yours. Receipt OCR runs on your device, saved history stays local, and there is no Tip Calc $ account or Enbilex receipt upload service. Advertising is the only feature that communicates with third-party services.
Information you enter
Bill amounts, tax, tip percentages, party size, rounding choices, merchant names, dates, notes, and receipt images are processed to provide the features you request. Enbilex does not collect these inputs from the app.
On-device receipt recognition
When you scan or import a receipt, Apple Vision performs text recognition on your device. Enbilex does not receive the image, recognized text, merchant, date, or amounts. OCR results always go to a review screen and are not used until you confirm them.
Local receipt history
Saved calculations, notes, recognized text, and compressed receipt images are stored locally in the app’s Application Support directory and SwiftData database. Tip Calc $ does not use an Enbilex account, CloudKit, or an Enbilex application server to sync this information.
Camera and PhotosPicker
Camera access is used only when you choose Scan Receipt. Photo selection uses Apple’s system PhotosPicker, which lets you choose specific images without granting the app unrestricted access to your photo library. You can always enter a bill manually.
Deleting your data
Delete a record from History to remove the calculation and its stored receipt images. History supports individual and batch deletion. You may also choose automatic cleanup after 30, 90, or 365 days in Settings; the default is to keep records until you delete them.
Advertising and consent
Tip Calc $ uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). These services may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and consent choices according to your region and Google’s policies. The app waits for UMP before requesting ads, disables publisher first-party ID, and requests non-personalized treatment.
Sharing and exports
Nothing is shared automatically. If you use Copy, Share, or the iOS share sheet, the destination you choose receives the content under that destination’s privacy practices.
Children’s privacy
Tip Calc $ is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. Enbilex does not knowingly collect children’s receipt or calculator data through the app.

We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
